African Antiques
I took the opportunity to visit some ‘art souvenir shops’ in Accra. Unlike other stu..d tourists, I was looking for antiques rather than superficial art souvenirs. I think although never studied African art, my knowledge on Africa convinced local dealers than I am not a stu..d ‘Obruni – whiteman,’ not here buying whatever is cute. I had great fun talking and dealing with them.
