On my way
to the fall from Accra, because I had only a coconut as meal for
the day, in addition to the sudden drop of temperature due to
climate change, and three weeks of tiresome traveling, I developed
a ‘small’ case of diarrhea during my tro-tro ride.
Passengers in the car looked at my gray face wondered what was
wrong, a woman was even flirting with me, “want do you want
to do?” She cockily asked. When the tro-tro stopped on the
road, I murmured, “let me go,” I dropped my backpack,
and ran into the Cassava field with my only remaining force
…
I lost most of my energy as a result. The 23 years old guide at the
park, Kofi Bismarck who looks rather 18, took care of me; he
thought I was really ill, and I was laying on the bed hoping it is
not malaria. Everything was fine at the end. Although never really
went to school, the clever boy made sure I leave him enough tips
and some of my wild-bee honey before my departure the next
day.
Taking a refreshing dip in the shallow
pool
This a 30m hight waterfall. In
addition to a cave, a rock named Umbrella Stone, and a palm tree
with three trunks.
